Recording Cell Phone Calls Now Possible With New Technology Targeted to Security Industry Professionals

BROOKLYN, NY, February 11, 2008—Recording cell phone calls has never been an option for private investigators and other security industry professionals, despite their mobile work environment and need for accurate information – until now. The latest technology from CallRecorder Card now provides a seamless process to sign up online and immediately record cell phone, landline and office phone conversations with its digital recording service.

CallRecorder Card (www.callrecordercard.net) released a new version of its phone recording technology that enables business professionals and others to receive a Personal Phone Number (PPN). Any calls made to the PPN will be recorded. Outgoing calls can be recorded by dialing the PPN before dialing the outgoing call number.

The recording technology provides a Web-based interface for customers to retrieve their recorded calls in a secure, password protected system using their Personal Identification Number (PIN). Customers never have to worry about keeping track of digital files on their digital recorders – or accidentally erasing their recorded phone calls. Advanced digital processors record both sides of every phone conversation made through customers’ Personal Phone Number.

“The nice thing about our service for recording phone calls is that no extra equipment is required,” says Lazer Hirsch, co-founder of CallRecorder Card. “Customers can record incoming and outgoing calls on their cell phone, home or office numbers after signing up online. They can begin using the service immediately through our new seamless process.”

Recording phone conversations is important for many professions beyond the security industry. Mystery shoppers place pizza orders over the phone, record the conversation and include it as a link with their mystery shopping report, which makes their reporting more valuable. Insurance agents take advantage of the technology to record cell phone calls to handle client interviews because accuracy is so critical. Law enforcement agents can record SWAT missions using CallRecorderCard service through cell phones in place of holding a button on walkie- talkies. This prevents anyone from claiming procedures weren’t followed properly. Doctors use the technology to record incoming calls, which helps reduce the risk of liabilities in their medical practice.

“So many different industries can benefit from recording phone calls—especially the option of recording cell phone calls,” Hirsch says. “Our society lives in such a mobile environment that having the ability to record cell phone calls for business offers workers such flexibility.”

Customers can purchase the CallRecorder Card to record phone calls in increments of 250 minutes ($99.99) or 500 minutes ($179.99). When customers give out their PPN, only those calls to the PPN will be recorded. The card does not replace existing telephone service. Each call is channeled through a recording switch before being answered by the other person. Customers have the option to select the area code of their Personal Phone Number.

CallRecorder Card also is rolling out another service called Stealth Card, which provides customers the option to change the caller ID that is displayed on outgoing calls. The caller has the choice of recording or not. Doctors, for example, can display their office number as their caller ID in place of their home number, if they are making calls to patients from their home.

CallRecorder Card is currently available in the United States and Canada to record phone calls—both incoming and outgoing.
